Shimpo’s innovative TNP torque testing machine has been devised with digital torque cell sensor to measure manual opening torques of caps, lids, and screws of various threaded containers needed for cosmetics, pharmaceutical container products, beverages, testing potentiometers, turned knobs, as well as the tightening force of faucet valves and keys. Shimpo TNP Series is compatible with the various type of caps including the P.P. caps. It adopts versatile USB as its interface which makes data import easy through communication with PCs. The Shimpo TNP series has been optimized with ± 0.5% F.S. accuracy to ensures exact results and repeatability.

Shimpo Motorized Torque Testing Unit TNP Series when combined with + DSP-10 stand, could be used as a destructive tester to identify if there is any material weakness of the packaging during the screwing of cap process. Shimpo TNP Series can also store 1000 sets of opening 1st, 2nd, 3rd peak values, and fitting peak value in memory before you transfer it to a USB memory device. The specialized software called “Digitorq_TNP” was created to edit measurement data easily. Furthermore, it can perform motorized torque tests by combining with the DSP-10 (motorized torque stand). The lower torque limit is considered as the minimum pressure of the cap to avoid any leak of the product. The higher torque limit is the maximum torque the customer can apply to open or close the product’s cap.
